Collie Flowers' Seeds

Our wide variety of seed stock is provided several UK seed wholesalers, including one that has been selecting and maintaining seed stocks longer than most, and selling to both the public, wholesale and commercial markets for over a hundred years and another operating from their small holding in Wales. Wherever we can, Collie Flowers is supporting British Businesses, particularly those in the agriculture sector.

With just a few exceptions we've tried to take the difficulty out of deciding which of the many varieties each herb, vegetable and flower you could grow. From the wide selection of seed available to Collie Flowers we've chosen only the best and those we are familiar with ourselves to ensure you get the best quality product possible from your seeds. But if you're looking for something particular and we don't have it listed, there's a good chance we can lay our hands on it for you, so drop an email to nic@collieflowers.co.uk and if we can arrange to stock a variety you want to grow we will.

For your, and our, peace of mind all our seeds are tested in our wholesalers in-house laboratory by qualified technicians for germination, purity and vigour. They are then packed by us for onward sale to the public. Collie Flowers is licenced to market, re-pack, re-label and re-seal seed by DEFRA, licence number 7867, under The Seed Marketing Regulations 2011.

All of our seed packs are hand weighed or counted before being hand packaged and sent on to you. Seed counts are approximate and based on an average seed count per gram provided by our supplier. When working with weights to measure your seeds we weigh out more than the calculations tell us to ensure you are getting value for money with our products. With small seed counts and large seeds, we tend to be more precise.

We supply our seed in standard packs: these are broadly a similar size to what you would expect to purchase in a garden centre and from some of the major suppliers.
