Meet the Collie Flowers Family

Collie Flowers' Managing Director Nic does pretty much every job there is to do at Collie Flowers. From the original concept she's had her fingerprints on everything we do, she's our Chief Marketing Officer, Graphic Designer, Book-keeper, Purchasing Manager, Web Master, Social Media bod, Researcher, Copywriter, Packet stuffer, Labeller and Photographer!

Nic's been gardening for about 15 years, 8 of those with an allotment which is where she'd like to spend most of her days instead of at her desk.

The youngest human member of the Collie Flowers' Team James is now 14. Aged 11, he curated our Kids Collection range and can be found helping out packing and labelling seeds as well as producing our Bee & Butterfly Bombs.

James is a reluctant gardener and would much rather be playing rugby or video games.

Head Gardener Hazel oversees all of our seed selections bringing her 45+ years of gardening knowledge into curating our collections and proof-reading all of our content. Aways happy to challenge the research for what should grow when, Hazel tests all of our seeds to understand how they grow, as well as helping create a beautiful garden and healthy plates of homegrown food.

Having dragged John out of retirement to help with Collie Flowers, he takes on any job we throw at him. John;s our main photographer and seed counter/weigher; apparently if he ever sees another microscopic Mimulus seed again he might quit and go back to using the garden for sunbathing only!  In the garden and at the allotment John's the chief digger, compost maker and handyman, making some amazing wooden planters for us.

Collie Flowers' mascot Cooper helped to name the business; with his first hole in the garden he became Nic's little "Collie Flower". 

Not one for helping out much, he likes to test out what he can eat in the garden and at the allotment has given himself the very important job of "Chicken Dog", guarding and herding the chickens in the allotment next door.
