This Privacy Policy comes into effect from 14 October 2022. This policy applies to all the personal information we collect and process about you when we engage with you, either as a customer or an enquirer. 

What information do we collect about you and why? 

We collect information about you when you place an order from our website. The only information we ever collect from you will be your normal contact details, which enable us to either despatch your orders, or contact you directly using the contact details you alone provide. 

Who might we share your information with? 

We do not share or sell information on to third parties.

We do use third party sites for the management of our business, such as EmailOctopus for the distribution of newsletters However your details are protected within our accounts on these platforms, with the hosts not having access to them for their own use.

How long do we keep hold of your information? 

Your details are kept on our secure data base whilst you remain a customer or continue to receive our marketing information. 

How can I access the information you hold about me? 

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, to restrict processing, to object, or to lodge a complaint if you believe your data is being used incorrectly. You can opt out of further communications or withdraw consent at any time.

Collie Flowers Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioners Office and have a commitment to ensuring we comply with data protection law. Our registration number is ZB391044. Every business or organisation processing personal data must register with the ICO unless they are exempt.

Automated decision making and profiling 

We do not use automated decision making or profiling to process data. We source and process information securely in house with a limited privacy impact. 

Marketing 

We’d like to send you information about our products and services which may be of interest to you. We do this by first asking you to opt-in to receiving these, but of course, you may opt out at a later date.

We use cookies to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. If our website contains links to other websites, although we have taken out our own checks on those sites, our privacy policy only applies to our own website. Therefore, when you link to other websites we would encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit. 

Credit card & Payment information 

In order to provide the most secure and safe payment process as possible Collie Flowers Ltd do not take payment details directly. Your card payment details are sent to a secure payment gateway, in this case we use Stripe and Paypal (which doesn’t require an account), which takes your payment details and processes the payment. Simply Collie Flowers Ltd does not handle this information and the only data we have access to in this form is so we can process refunds and check the fraud status of each payment, we never have access to the full details you entered. 

Changes to our privacy policy 

We keep our privacy policy under regular review and will update or amend to comply with current legislation. This Privacy notice was created in September 2022.
