Swift is a first early, extra tender variety which produces heavy cobs of superb sweet flavour and texture, with approximately 14 to 16 rows of delicious golden kernels. As this is a super sweet variety, it will need much more moisture to ensure successful germination. It is an easy to grow extra tender and sweet variety and has better vigour than most others.
NOTE:
Sweetcorn varies in sweetness varieties are available in three different types which, wherever possible, should be grown quite separately to prevent cross pollination which may result in tough starchy kernels in the extra sugary types.
