‘Ping Pong’ is usually grown for its splendid flower heads although its lace like flowers in pale blue, almost white are a delight, not just to us gardeners but bees too. The spherical seed heads are a silvery colour similar to the seed heads of Honesty (Lunaria). Equally useful as a cut fresh flower or seed head, Ping Pong gives several handfuls of stems from a single plant alone.
