Cabbage, April is an early spring pointed variety, known as a spring green. Compact heads grow on dwarf plants, ideal when space is at a premium as it can be sown in rows as close as 20cm apart.Unlike many varieties April is reknowned for withstanding the tendency to bolt which some autumn-sown spring cabbage can do. Can be sown and harvested twice a year.
